What type of files do you accept? . . .
We prefer print ready PDF files. We also accept jpeg, tiff, and eps files. Please send PDF files with embedded or outlined fonts. Crop marks are not required. Please flatten your files before uploading.
What color mode should I use? . . .
Files should be sent in CMYK color mode. If RBG files are sent, we will convert to CMYK which may cause a color shift.
What resolution should my file be? . . .
300 dpi or more is highly recommended.
How should I set up my bleed? . . .
Standard bleeds for most products - 0.125” (1/8 inch) on all sides. If ordering at 8.5" x 11", your file size should be 8.75” x 11.25” with bleed. Bleeds for booklets and presentation folders - 0.25” on all sides. If ordering at 6" x 9", your file size should be 6.5” x 9,5” with bleed. For most signage products, we require a 0.5” bleed on all sides. If ordering at 9" x 12", your file size should be 10" x 13" with bleed.
Should I place borders on jobs? . . .
Small borders can become an issue if it’s too close to the cutline.
Should I send a proof or sample file? . . .
No. Only submit finalized print files.
Can I submit a front and back in the same file? . . .
No. Please separate files. Submit your front file as a separate file and your back file as a separate file.
How do I export a .pdf correctly? . . .
If you're using a standard program such as Indesign or Illustrator, use the following presets.
Adobe PDF Preset is set to: Press Quality
Outline text and embed artwork is necessary.
How can I create a rich black? . . .
We recommend using:
C-60 M-40 Y-40 K-100.
This will result in a satisfactory rich black.
What is bizgoprint's standard round corner radius? . . .
1/4" radius round corners.
